KIA is a Korean multinational company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of vehicles. It has been operating in Spain since 1992 through its subsidiary, Kia Motors Iberia. Pentasoft has been a KIA partner for more than 15 years.

Objective

KIA recently launched MiKia, an exclusive and free online portal for its customers. From a web environment or through a mobile application, customers can request a workshop appointment, receive catalogs, be up to date with the latest news of the brand, update their data and get exclusive offers, among other benefits and services.

After the launch, the objective was to communicate to customers the existence of the new portal, as well as the challenge of getting them to register and activate their account. It was therefore necessary to develop the following processes:

  • Communicate with the largest number of customers in the new online environment.
  • Set and control security in the access and use of the MiKia portal.
  • Design an intuitive and simple registration and activation process for customers.

Solution

Pentasoft's participation in the project has been decisive. We have worked closely with KIA implementing the following processes:

  • Strategic planning of communication to customers.
  • Design of the registration process and activation of MiKia users.
  • Customers database segmentation.
  • Sending email campaigns to invite customers to know MiKia.
  • Support to users from KIA Customer Service.
  • Reporting, analytics and results.

The response from customers has been exceptional, which shows that the launch of the MiKia project in Spain has been a success.
